6:33Now PlayingThe recent thunderstorm and lighting in India have caused mayhem in at least three states so far. Over 80 people are killed in Bihar, 24 people in Uttar Pradesh and many others are critically injured. Nearly 180 villages are deeply affected by this crisis.
Even the floods in Assam continue to remain grim as the water level of River Brahmaputra is only rising, especially in Guwahati. The state has been witnessing a heavy downpour for the last few days.
The Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar announced ₹ 4 lakhs each for the families who succumbed to the thunderstorm lighting. IMD has also issued red alerts in some part of Bihar.
