2:04Now PlayingPSU major Oil India Limited has issued a statement saying that it has suspended all operations to douse the flames at the Baghjan gas well as floodwaters hamper the pumps installed to put out the fire. The floods have resulted in rising water level in the nearby rivers submerging the pumps installed by the company at the well to douse the flames. Further, roads around the site, connecting it to the main district have also been affected and partially submerged. Evacuation has been initiated in the area over the past week to ensure the safety of people living nearby amid the operations being hampered.
