3:28Now PlayingThe MEA has issued a statement after National Security Advisor Ajit Doval held talks with Chinese Foreign Minister & State Councilor Wang Yi over video call yesterday. The statement says both sides agreed to complete the disengagement process along the Line of Actual Control. Both the countries should also ensure a phased and stepwise de-escalation process around the India-China border. The focus of the conversation was the restoration of peace & tranquillity and to work together to avoid such incidents in the future. The previous de-escalation process has created havoc at the Galwan valley where almost 20 Indian soldiers were martyred and many others were injured.
