The Director-General of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research Dr Shekhar Mande spoke exclusively to MIRROR NOW about this. He said, ‘Coronavirus droplets stay in the air for some time, they even settle down on masks and gloves. The droplets cannot drive through the air. Airborne transmission is a scientific and significant factor in the pandemic’.
