The car carrying Vikas Dubey to Kanpur Court along with other cops met with an accident. Post-accident the don tried to flee until; police raged firing, where he got critically injured and was rushed to Kanpur's LLR hospital where he was declared dead.
Vikas Dubey is the prime accused in the Kanpur shootout where eight policemen were martyred. Dubey was arrested in the Mahakal Temple in Madya Pradesh’s Ujjain district after almost 7 days of the shootout.
