The landslide has also blocked the Srinagar-Leh road, affecting the movement of the army convoys as well as civilians in the area. The dramatic visuals show the magnitude of the impact of the landslide and the extent of the damage. Rescue operations are underway in the area. There are also ongoing clearing operations to resume the access of the road and remove the debris.
