3:24Now PlayingA massive landslide hit Kashmir's Bonibagh area today affecting the road connectivity to Ladakh as the Srinagar-Leh highway was also blocked. The landslide has damaged several shops and residential homes in the district. Army convoy movement to Ladakh has also been affected by the landslide and rescue operations are currently underway.
Times Network reporter, Mir Fareed brings more details of the on-ground situation and the efforts being put in to open the road again. Approximately 15 shops, 4-5 houses, and several vehicles have been damaged in the landslide. The integral road has been blocked almost 100 meters, affecting movement. The authorities have initiated rescue operations to secure the people living in the area.
