Maharashtra has announced a lockdown in several hotspot areas of the state over the month of July, including Thane, Pune, and Kalyan-Dombivli. A similar trend has been witnessed in Karnataka, where the government has announced a lockdown in Bengaluru, Hubli, Dharwad, and Raichur.
