4:28Now PlayingCabinet Minister Sunil Kedar met with a group of milk producers today amid the protest of plunging milk prices in the State. The minister assured that all suggestions have been taken into consideration & that a plan will be put up in the cabinet meeting.
Kedar also criticised the Centre’s decision to import milk powder saying that ‘We have enough milk in our country and there is no need to import milk powder’.
Mil prices in Maharashtra have been reduced by 40%. The farmers and milk producers raged a protest earlier today demanding the milk price to be Rs 30/litre.
