Are students risking their lives or future, still remains a question.
Bharat Uday, a JEE aspirant speaks to Tanvi Shukla about how important it is to conduct the exams right now because students have been preparing for these exams for two-three years. He further adds that putting students under pressure by not conducting the exams is not good for their mental health. He explains how difficult it is to prepare for these exams and students cannot afford to lose touch with their studies.
Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo, Former member of the parliament Lok Sabha, BJD explains how tens of thousands of students will be packed in one little room, he says that the government of India has not thought this through. He adds that the answer is certainly not to have the exams in today's circumstances.
Nasir Hussain, Congress too believes that the Supreme Court itself was shut and cases are being heard virtually, while the court itself is not in a position to meet regularly and hear the cases, they want one generation of students to risk their lives. Advait, a NEET aspirant, believes that exams should not be held in this uncertain situation, no standard operating measure can ensure the safety of the students.
