as posted by the channelA massive inferno has destroyed the Public Welfare Department Office in Srinagar. The top floor of the building was completely gutted in the fire. Several offices were damaged in the process. There is substantial damage to the building by fire and the police have registered a case and all angles including sabotage are being investigated.
Our correspondent Mir Fareed reports, 'This office is in the heart of Sri Nagar in the Rajbagh area and in no time the fire had spread through the whole top floor in the Chief Engineer's office. The fire department was able to douse the fire but that was much later after the building was destroyed massively.'
