NCB teams conducted the house searches for 2 to 3 hours and seized some digital evidence.
After that, both Samuel Miranda and Showik Chakraborty were brought to Mumbai NCB office.
NCB officially clarified that this was neither detention nor an arrest. Both of them were brought to the NCB Office for further investigation.
On the other hand, accused Basit was produced in the court. NCB while seeking his custody mentioned in the remand copy that Basit accepted that he was involved in selling and purchasing marijuana and he used to supply the drug to Showik and Miranda.
