19-year-old Vignesh from Ariyalur went missing from his home on 8th September.
After frantically searching, his body was recovered from a nearby well.
The family has filed a complaint with Police that Vignesh was under extreme pressure due to NEET exams after the dates were announced.
Villagers from Ariyalur held a road roko claiming that NEET should be cancelled as it is against the interest of students' from a poor background.
Chief Minister Edapadi K Palanisamy has announced a solarium of 7 lakh rupees and a government job for one member of the family.
CM EPS has also requested students to not take such harmful decisions.
Ariyalur is the same district from where Anita, a student spearheaded a protest against NEET back in 2017 but committed suicide after NEET was not cancelled.
