1:26Now PlayingDelhi’s Health Minister Satyendar Jain has stated that Plasma therapy will continue to be used because it is proving to be effective to people who are in Stage 1 or 2 of the COVID-19 infection. He has further added that it is not effective for patients who have gone beyond stage 2.
The statement comes in line with the fact that the ICMR has yesterday released the remarks of what they have studied on plasma therapy across 39 hospitals saying that it hasn’t proved effective, with respect to not being able to bring down the death rate.
The minister states that this method is not new but plasma therapy has been in use since a very long time.
