1:17Now PlayingThe union health ministry has now noticed that in some large states symptomatic negative cases that were tested by the Rapid Antigen tests are not being followed up by the RTPCR testing. The Union health ministry has further urged the states and Union territories to urgently establish a monitoring mechanism in every district in order to follow up with these cases, those who are testing negative but are still showing symptoms.
The aim here should be to ensure that no potentially positive case should be missed out. They have also been advised to undertake an analysis on a regular basis which is to monitor incidents of positives that are reported during the RTPCR tests conducted as a follow-up.
