This incident took place while the girl was going to appear for her final year examinations. The accused first stabbed the girl with a knife and later shot her with a gun.
The victim was rushed to the hospital by nearby locals but later succumbed to her severe injuries. According to the police, the accused was appearing for a comparative exam and may have known the victim. However, the reason for the murder is still unclear.
