This after the information came up that Swapna Suresh got ₹1.5 Cr commission for the project. The CBI team has named Santosh, the owner of Unitac builders as the prime accused.
The Life Mission Project Scheme was introduced by the State Government for those people who lost their livelihoods, especially in 2018-2019 floods. This project has come under the scanner of the CBI after it was very clear that the whole project had violated the FCRA (Foreign Contribution Regulation Act) and there are also allegations that commissions were received by various people including Swapna Suresh.
