The opposition also alleged that the minimum support price that is assured to the farmers is also in danger and raised doubts about contract farming. DMK leader MK Stalin's son Udhayanidhi Stalin led the protest in Chennai where he questioned Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami’s support for the changes.
