Since 15th August, the issue of who will be the next CM candidate has been boiling within AIADMK. The present Chief Minister, Edappadi K. Palaniswami wants to be the next CM candidate while current Deputy Chief Minister is also eyeing the position. However, more drama is yet to unveil as sources claim that OPS wants the General Secretary post of the party which was abolished after Jayalalitha’s death.
Step by step game plan allegedly organized to take over the party before ousted AIADMK leader Sasikala is released from prison. Once EPS team denies CM candidacy, OPS team to demand 11 member steering committee formation and conduct General Council meet and become General Secretary with National party support.
