While the entire nation is hanging its head low in shame, as the country fails another daughter, Uttar Pradesh police continue to make matters worse for them. The Uttar Pradesh police did not just show dereliction, but also denied the dignity to the dead, as they forcibly cremated her body while keeping her family in confinement. Furthermore, U.P cops have barred the entry into the village, both media and political leaders have been denied entry and the victim’s family continues to live in confinement.
But somehow, some of the family members have tried coming out and they have spoken to the media as to what the situation is on the ground. A video went viral, where the DM was openly threatening the family to not change their statements. To discuss the same, senior journalist Sharad Pradhan, O.P Mishra, spokesperson of BJP U.P, Vivek Silas, and spokesperson of Samajwadi party are all present on the panel.
