14:08Now PlayingOn the Urban Debate today, Tanvi Shukla discusses the Bihar elections, which are just around the corner. Days ahead of Bihar elections, the NDA has announced its seat-sharing formula. LJP has given its decision of contesting the elections without any alliance in Bihar. While the LJP still backs BJP, but the LJP doesn't want to fight alongside the JDU. Janta United Dal will contest for 122 seats and BJP will be contesting for 121 seats and the remaining will be taken by the H.A.M from JD(U).
The BJP has meanwhile made it very clear that anybody who wants to be part of the alliance has to recognize that it is Nitish Kumar who is going to be the part of leadership and their face.
Furthermore, preparations for elections have also begun in Tamil Nadu as well and there has been a massive rift within the AIADMK, about who the next CM candidate is going to be. A hectic meeting takes place just a day before the party is said to announce who is going to be the face for CM for the elections.
