“We want the victim to get justice. Our government set up the S.I.T & also asked for a CBI investigation. The opposition parties are causing crowding at Hathras and creating a nuisance,” says Uttar Pradesh BJP leader Manish Shukla.
Former DGP of Uttar Pradesh Arvind Kumar Jain says that the Government of Uttar Pradesh has sent a recommendation for transferring the case to CBI. It has been processed by DoPT & within a day or two, it will be taken up. The state has even requested an SC-monitored investigation.
