6:04Now PlayingOn the Urban Debate today, Tanvi Shukla talks about another country which is dealing with a lot of fake news and ideological differences apart from India and that is the United States of America. It has become crucial for them at this particular point as they are heading into a big election and U.S President Donald Trump has tested positive for COVID-19, just weeks ahead of the big elections. It is not just Donald Trump but many in his entire team, his close aides, all ended up getting infected.
To discuss how the things are shaping up as Donald Trump recovers and is getting back to work, Jacqueline Alemany, Political reporter with the Washington Post joins Tanvi Shukla. Jacqueline states that with Donald Trump testing positive, his ground campaigns were put to a halt, but, according to Donald Trump, he is planning to travel soon but much of his campaign staff has been affected with the virus.
Jacqueline Alemany states that the president would have protected himself better if he would have worn a mask and maintained social distancing, instead he continued to shake hands and has been in close proximity.
