2:13Now PlayingDelhi's air quality drops to very poor category. ITO witness Delhi's air quality above 300 points. The government agency, System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research, or SAFAR, said the air quality is likely to improve slightly in the coming days due to a change in the wind direction.
The 24-hour average Air Quality Index stood at 300, which falls in the poor category. An AQI between 0 and 50 is considered “good”, 51 and 100 “satisfactory”, 101 and 200 “moderate”, 201 and 300 “poor”, 301 and 400 “very poor”, and 401 and 500 ‘severe’. SAFAR predicted that the AQI will enter the “moderate” category in the coming days.
