YouTube Description
as posted by the channelOxygen suppliers have hiked their transport prices which has agitated the private hospitals in Karnataka. A necessity during the Covid-19 pandemic, hospitals will now have to pay double the price for oxygen.
The main reason behind the sudden surge is because the Karnataka government failed to cap oxygen transport fees.
The farmer bodies, last month, capped the prices of liquid oxygen and cylinders. However, they left the capping of transportation charges to the state government. This failure has given the firms some space to hike transportation fees.
The unprecedented demands due to the pandemic has led the prices to skyrocket, a supplier told Mirror Now.
