Even with several promises made by the Bihar government, migrant workers in Bihar are still struggling to earn a livelihood.

The government has claimed of providing rations and taking good care of the workers and yet the workers dictate a different story.

Migrant workers claim that the government did not provide any support during the pandemic, not even ration. When asked if there were any job opportunities provided, as the government proclaimed, a worker said that he is cutting wood despite completing his graduation in BA.

BJP has claimed that they have spent Rs 5300 on each migrant worker in the state, whereas there is no proof of the same. In fact, the workers had to pay their own bus travelling expenses.

Bihar government’s tall claims have been nothing but empty promises for migrant workers
