1:47Now PlayingThe Madurai bench of Madras High Court has issued an interim ban to telecast the condom, inner wears and other such ads. This decision comes after the High Court heard a PIL which stated that advertisements for contraceptive devices and medicines for sexual problems are sexually arousing and show women in a derogatory manner.
The Madras HC heard this plea today that was filed by a person from Virdhnagar district that stated that ads on the contraceptive, medicines for sexual problems and innerwear ads are showing women in a provocative manner which is actually spoiling the minds of young adults.
