3:25Now PlayingIn a recent report coming from Uttar Pradesh, the government has suspended UP Deputy Inspector General (DIG)Anant Dev over having ties with the gangster Vikas Dubey after confirmed reports from SIB probe and the recent report also named 80 government officials. This suspension comes after a probe was conducted by a special investigation team which revealed a connection between police and gangster Vikas Dubey, allegedly responsible for the death of eight policemen. Vikas Dubey, part of a deadly gang was shot dead by police on July 10 when he allegedly attempted to escape from the police custody. Dev was the Kanpur SSP when 8 cops were killed.
