1:06Now PlayingBihar's Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), H R Srinivas rejected Tejashwi Yadav's charge for irregularities in postal ballots in the foregone Bihar assembly elections 2020. Tejashwi Yadav had alleged that the rejected postal ballot, Hilsa, might have helped the Mahagathbandhan to win the polls. Responding to Tejashwi's claim EC told to media winning margin in the Hilsa constituency was less than the rejected ballots. On this basis the Returning Officers rejected the plea by Tejashwi to recount votes in 5 constituencies. Despite, the recounting of votes the results of Bihar assembly elections 2020 remains in favor of Nitish Kumar of JDU.
