2:30Now PlayingA retired Army man Saurabh Sharma was arrested in a joint operation by Military Intelligence and Uttar Pradesh anti-terror squad for sharing classified military information with the Pakistani intelligence operative who posed as a Defence journalist. The retired Army man allegedly accepted his involvement with the Pakistani agency since 2016.
As per the police he was sharing sensitive military information in exchange for money. An FIR has been lodged against the Saurabh Sharma under sections of Official Secrets Act and the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act. Uttar Pradesh ADG, Law and Order, Prashant Kumar briefed the media on the espionage case.
