Registration and appointment booking for the COVID-19 vaccine are to be done via the CoWIN portal: cowin.gov.in, according to the Union Health Ministry.
The vaccines are available at government and private clinics for people over the age of 60, as well as 45-year-olds with comorbidities. Although private hospitals will charge patients for vaccines, those who attend a government clinic will receive the vaccine free of charge. The delays occurred despite the fact that 25 lakh potential recipients registered on the Co-Win portal on Monday, according to officials.
