Bengal has a sizable population from these two states, with many of them exercising their right to vote, especially in the city and its suburbs. Tejashwi Yadav, the RJD's leader, met Banerjee at Nabanna on Monday and pledged his "total support to Mamata Didi" in the fight for "values." On Monday, Akhilesh Yadav, the chief of the Samajwadi Party, also expressed his support for Banerjee.
