In a swift response, the AIADMK ruled out accommodating her or her nephew TTV Dhinakaran's Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam in the party or the electoral alliance led by it.
When asked if his party wanted Sasikala to join the AIADMK-led alliance and about Union Home Minister Amit Shah reportedly speaking with Chief Minister K Palaniswami about the issue, Saffron Party Tamil Nadu in-charge and national general secretary C T Ravi said, "Only you are speculating." His party was a member of the AIADMK-led alliance, and the ruling party in Tamil Nadu will determine whether or not to accommodate Sasikala and Dhinakaran, he said.
