I-T raids were conducted across the poll-bound state on many leaders of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam including party Supremo MK Stalin's son-in-law.
These I-T raids at MK Stalin's daughter's residence have sparked a massive political row. Reacting to the raids by Central Agency, MK Stalin has come out saying that 'he is not scared of the raids'. TMC and other opposing parties have also accused the Centre of misusing the central agencies. Are Government agencies being used selectively?
While reacting to the I-T raids on DMK Leaders, BJP's Narayanan said that 'I-T department is an autonomous body. BJP has no role in this. IT Raids are a regular affair'. Whereas, AIADMK's Kovai Sathyan said that 'If DMK has nothing to worry about, why are they drawing the sympathy card, why not face the consequences'.
