5:30Now PlayingThe Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) released new guidelines on Monday as the financial capital moved closer to being unlocked. The new set of guidelines comes a day after Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray declared that the state's lockdown-like restrictions will be extended until June 15 and that relaxations will be provided based on the COVID-19 positivity rate and oxygen bed availability. In the last 24 hours, Maharashtra has registered 15,077 cases and 184 deaths. Approximately 33,000 persons recovered from the condition within the same time period. According to the most recent numbers, the total caseload is 57,46,892, with 2,53,367 active cases.
