YouTube Description
as posted by the channelThe Delhi High Court declared on Monday that if the new Information Technology Rules for digital media have not been stayed, Twitter must comply with them. Justice Rekha Palli has served notice on the Centre and the social media site Twitter, requesting their responses to a petition filed by a lawyer, Amit Acharya, alleging non-compliance with the laws. The central government challenged Twitter's claim that it had followed the rules and established a resident grievance officer before the court. Acharya learned of the alleged non-compliance when he tried to make a complaint over a few of tweets, according to his plea, which was submitted through attorneys Akash Vajpai and Manish Kumar.
