While on the one hand, the hospitals in Bengaluru are now overcharging the patients who are seeking admission and treatment with severe COVID complications. on the other hand, Telangana HC has pulled up the private hospitals stating that the people are mortgaging gold to pay their hefty hospital bills. Amidst all of this, Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray issued a warning to the private hospitals that are involved in charging exorbitant fees. The Maha government has also bifurcated areas for treatment and the pricing for treatment in rural & Urban areas will also be different
