as posted by the channelThe Supreme Court has called for data from the Centre on the purchase history of all the three vaccines, including Covaxin, Covishield and Sputnik V. The top court has also remanded the centre's policy, where they conducted free vaccination drives for groups in the first two phases, but then allowed private hospitals to charge people in the 18+ category in the third phase. The SC called it arbitrary and irrational. SC seeks data from states on whether they will jab for free. The bench has also asked for the projected date of supply of covid, seeking clarification on how the government has spent Rs 35,000 Cr marked for jabs.
