5:19Now PlayingYesterday, the Delhi HC ordered bail to the Delhi riots’ activists constrained since May 2020 on UAPA charges. As per the latest updates on that, Media interference has been removed from the hearing of the Natasha Narwhal and 2 other activists’ cases. The hearing was based on the application for their immediate release following the Delhi HC order on their bail in the Delhi riots case. Although the Delhi HC has reserved the order on the release application yet earlier on the plea, the media was asked to leave. The link to these hearings is usually available on the web and open to the public. However, in this case, the HC was of the opinion that this is a matter between the court and accused applicants, and no one should be allowed in the meeting except those who are directly concerned. On this, the operator removed the media personnel from the meeting one by one.
