4:59Now PlayingHuman Rights Activist and Priest Stan Swamy, an accused in the Elgar Parishad-Maoist links case, passed away at the age of 84 on Monday, his counsel informed the Bombay High Court when the court took up his bail plea. His Lawyer Mihir Desai said Stan Swamy, who has been admitted to a private hospital since May, was in the Intensive Care Unit and was put on a ventilator on Sunday after he had difficulty breathing and his oxygen levels were fluctuating.
As per the Report, Stan Swamy was arrested last year in the January 2018 Elgar Parishad case and as per his health condition, he was allowed to stay in the private hospital.
