Several hospitals in the National Capital and other states raised constant SOS alarms, appealing to the Central and State governments to provide medical oxygen. The country was reeling under the shortage of medical oxygen and hoarders kept on holding back the oxygen supply in the National Capital. A Hospital in Delhi claimed that as many as 25 lives were lost due to the oxygen shortage. The incident was reported back in April. Several pleas were filed in the Supreme Court and High Court. However, it has now come to light that the cops have informed the court that no deaths were reported due to lack of oxygen. There has been a constant denial in the Parliament during the ongoing monsoon session and now there is denial in courtrooms as well.
