Delhi was among a few states and Union territories that had a higher age bar compared to other states or Union territories in the country. The Delhi Government also said before the High Court that its decision to reduce the minimum age for drinking in Delhi has no connection with drunken driving. Senior Advocate Rahul Mehra also mentioned that ''drunken driving is not permissible in law. So whether the minimum age is 21 or 25, it should not matter." Watch to know more.
