3:13Now PlayingThe Centre has now given its nod for the appointment of 9 Supreme Court judges. It is being reported that the 9 names which were put forth by the Collegium for the appointment of Supreme Court judges also included the names of 3 women judges and the list will now go to the President for approval. The recommended list of Supreme Court judges was sent for approval to the Centre on August 17th. Out of these 3 women judges, one of them will become India's First CJI in 2027. Mirror Now's correspondent Meenakshi Bhanja reports that the approval for 9 Supreme Court judges came from the Centre late last evening.
