4:49Now PlayingCOVID cases in Kerala have now spiked once again. This comes days after Onam was celebrated in the state. Kerala has recorded over 31,000 cases in the last 24 hours and the positivity rate is now over 19%. The daily spike has been recorded for the first time since the month of May, where the fresh case count is over 20,000 in the state. Amid the COVID spike which is being witnessed, the opposition has now demanded the state government to intervene in the matter. The Congress party in the state has lashed out at Pinarayi Vijayan government, adding that the state government should now change their strategies as far as the COVID management is concerned.
