However, 30% of the government school teachers are yet to take vaccine shots. It is mandatory for school staff to be administered at least one dose. In this regard, the state government has set up 7 new vaccination camps in Chennai so that more and more people get the vaccination. while speaking to Mirror Now, Tamil Nadu Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi says that the process to vaccinate school teachers is underway, vaccination for 85% of teachers will be completed but there is no data on private teachers vaccination as of now.
