3:23Now PlayingA row has now erupted in Karnataka after the construction workers were asked to get vaccinated from a private hospital. A private hospital in Karnataka was given the contract of vaccinating the construction workers and Rs 800 was charged for each dose of vaccine which was administered. Rs 4 lakh were taken from the welfare fund in order to get the workers vaccinated in the hospital. However, after the inoculation drive, the unions have now questioned the authorities over the paid vaccine jabs for the construction workers. P. Ravi Kumar, State Chief Secretary commented on the row and stated that there was a shortage of vaccines in the government hospitals.
