Sep 14, 20211:57Now PlayingThe laws for the temples in Tamil Nadu have been changed in the state in connection with the land grabbing of the temples is concerned. The rules against temple land grabbing have now changed, making it a cognizable and non-bailable offence in Tamil Nadu. The Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act has now been amended and the law will be empowering anyone who wishes to lodge a complaint against all encroachers of temples land. This comes after the Tamil Nadu government launched a massive drive to retrieve the temple lands which were encroached upon.
