Visibility has dropped down and smog has engulfed the areas of Delhi NCR. Quality of air was already dropping down even before Diwali due to stubble burning in the Northern states and now crackers have also contributed to the air pollution. However, the Delhi government imposed a ban on bursting crackers on Diwali and requested people to take proper precautions to avoid pollution. Now, the national capital is covered with a thick blanket of polluted air that is injurious to health.
