2:00Now PlayingAccording to the latest update on edible oil, the government has cut the basic duty on edible oil from 2.5% to nil. The duty cut is on palm oil, soybean, and sunflower oils. This action has been taken in order to reduce and control the prices of edible oil which was also been sky-rocketing recently. The government had asked major edible oil firms to cut wholesale prices by Rs 4 to Rs 7 per liter. This comes a day after the government reduced fuel prices on the eve of Diwali.
