4:16Now PlayingAfter almost a decade, the national capital Delhi is all set to have a single Municipal Corporation once again. Amid much opposition by the Aam Aadmi Party, the bill is likely to be tabled in Parliament on Friday. Sanjay Singh, an Aam AAP MP, even filed a notice in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday for a Zero Hour reference against the move. If the bill is passed, the three existing north, south, and east municipal corporations will be merged to form one unified civic body which is known as the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). The step comes after the civic body was trifurcated in 2012 by the Sheila Dixit government. Watch this to know more!
